Five ways to style wide-leg jeans!

Five ways to style wide-leg jeans!

In today's post, I'm going to be showing you the ways that I like to style my favorite Not Your Daughter's Teresa Wide Leg Ankle jeans in the color Huntley!

Because the pants are all about volume, I try to keep the silhouette up top on the slimmer slide for a more flattering look.

1.) I styled the pants with this fall-appropriate sienna silk shirt from the brand Quince. This is an example of pairing it with something that doesn’t necessarily have to be form fitting, but because it’s drapey it doesn’t overwhelm.

2.) I love this vest because it’s a total throwback to the 70s which plays to the retro vibe of the wide-leg! It also stays pretty close and adds structure to the outfit.

3.) This satin blazer is a dressier option, but I kept it open and accessorized with a longer necklace to keep it funky!

4.) This super fun puff-sleeve blouse is my exception to avoiding volume up top: it draws attention to the shoulders and is more skimming in the waist.

5.) Just because you don’t want to bulk up the top doesn’t mean you can’t wear a sweater, but a cashmere or light cotton that’s not too long is most flattering. The pointed shoes with the wide leg also give a longer, more streamlined look.

Are you loving the wide-leg trend, or do you prefer a skinny or straight leg style? Let me know in the comments!
